Raisa, I’ve combed the archives for all traces of this Scalar ‘deathbreather’ snake you were asking about but this is all I’ve been able to come up with. Hopefully it has the answers you’re looking for, although references to it are scarce enough that I can’t help wonder if it isn’t an old fairy tale. Gleman mentions a similar snake in his books on the Evergreen – are you sure this is worth the research time you’re giving it? I’d hate to see a promising scholar like you wasting your abilities.
